The place got a renovation and seems like they are under new ownership. It looks very nice considering their new system for the consoles as well as the screens. At night they usually turn off the lights and turn on the party lights.
Me and a few friends go in for the 2$ Tuesday. All is fine, but we are squished next to someone. First off, the people we were next to had 5 people in a lane but the lady would not let them go into 2 lanes even though the next league was in an hour and we both only had like 2 games left. Secondly, they charged us the fair 2$ price. But I later found out they got charged 2.50$. They apparently also paid for 4 games, but the lady cut them off at 3 games for some reason. Anyways, we ask the lady to move us over the lane, she says no. We respectfully talk about it at our lanes about what just happened and saying why we cant change and were a little frustrated, but its all fine. I go to the bathroom. When I come back, the lady says which one of you had a problem with me, in a very snobbish, creepy way. How did she even hear what we said? I told them a friend said it and my friend went to talk to her. She started questioning him. After that, for a whole 15-20 minutes she looked at us and listened to what we were saying. At one point, the little tablet things right next to the ball racks where your ball is returned after you through it says surveillance or something that lets someone hear what we are saying.. ONLY are lane. She is still giving us nasty looks. She keeps telling us, you good? in a sarcastic way. Very unpleasant day. My friend was even intimidated by her
Although I moved away I often come back to Parkway Lanes. It was a decent place before but now it has become modernized, keeping up with the likes of AMF lanes. With 36 lanes split between two sides it makes for a interesting atmosphere. The service from since you walk into the door is excellent as it has always been. The food services might need a touch of updating but I won't count it against them as I come to bowl and not get a 5-star meal. The prices are decent even for a Saturday night. I did not get to see if they have blacklight bowling but that would be an excellent addition to the lanes. Overall my family and I had a great night. I will suggest to all my friends that are still here in the city to go.
Hello. I would first of like to say before today, this was an easy 5 stars. Great place and very neat looking. A nice pro shop with a nice person working there. Very professional. Love the modern tv's and the whole look in general. But today, I had a terrible experience.
When I called they informed me their lowest package starts as $17.50 per person. I told the lady that answered the phone their website claims that packages begin at $15. I offered to send a screen shot with this information. She refused to give me their info and tried to convince me I was on the wrong website.
This is a nice, modern bowling alley with food and drinks available. Reasonably priced on the weekends and good deals during the week for bowling. The are also two pool tables available.
Pitty.. I've enjoyed many bowling nights there with my family. Which is why I inquired to begin with. That definitely needs to be adjusted.
False Advertisement. I was on their website looking into booking my sons birthday party. The site claims party packages start at $15 per person. I knew with the amount of children we're inviting it was out of our price range. So I tried contacting them to see if we could come to an agreement on pricing.
