Great food, comfy atmosphere, wonderful service... bravo!
We have ordered the family special numerous times and were always happy with the food. We have eaten at the restaurant countless times over the last six years and never had a bad meal. The staff is wonderful and the prices are reasonable.
My husband and I have dined at Giovannis's several times and even had a party for my mom's 85th birthday there. We recently ordered the takeout special for a small dinner party, again for my mom's birthday. What a disappointment!!!! I was embarrassed to say the least. The chicken oreganata was tough, sometimes that happens. The potatoes were tasteless and the pasta was disgusting. Everybody I know thinks their sauce/ gravy is the best. There was so much oregano in the sauce it was overpowering. Luckily I made a tray of sausage and peppers. Most of the people that were there have also eaten at Giovanni's so we all were expecting a great meal. Sadly it wasn't . Very disappointing!!!!
